The definition of our concept comes directly from the dictionary.
Eclectic: (ec-lec-tic) deriving ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources
We’d like to introduce ourselves. We are Aliza and Sion, a married couple that destiny brought together to create this amazing concept for our restaurant. The Eklektik is a place that was built from the ground up with our own hands and hearts.
The concept, design and execution was created based on our dreams, abilities and expertise. Our vision delivers an environmental friendly approach for restaurants based on sustainability. We do this through committing ourselves to recycling and reviving used materials at every opportunity. 90% of the resources used in this project are recycled, reused or repurposed. The tables, chairs, dishes, silverware and glassware are all made from recycled materials. We used discarded bottles, lamps, fixtures, planters, shelving, and furniture to build The Eklektik. With that said, everything will be available to purchase.
In the near future, our energy will be produced by solar panels, solar water heaters and a biodigestor for recycling our own sewer water and kitchen waste. These renewable sources will generate our electricity, gas for cooking and fertilizer for our greenhouse. We are taking personal responsibility for our health and environment and sharing a message with the community that we care. We take pride in our city and planet, and want to improve them and leave them better places.
Our food is incredibly Eklektik coming from all walks of life. Our menus was created from our travels, cooking with our families, friends and incorporating old recipes with a new, innovative approach. The result is a fusion of flavors that must be tasted to be appreciated.
Our motto is "Cooking with love provides food for the soul."
We love to cook. Doing what you love is freedom and loving what you do is happiness.
